bumpsteer spacer kit - info?
« on: September 07, 2009, 12:10:15 PM »
Since the Baer adjustable tie-rod ends won't work with late model trucks is something like this an option?

I have no idea if the taper is correct on this particular one, I was just curious if this was a hack fix or something worth considering.
03 Sonoma ECSB, 4.3 auto, bolt-ons, xtreme80 tune, ZQ8 steering box, QA1 coilovers and rear shocks, UB Machine UCAs, Spohn LCAs, tall balljoints, ZO6 wheels, race seats.

IIRC the taper is 7 degrees or 1.5" per foot.
I do know the pivot has to be dropped between 1/2" and 5/8".
The Baer Tracker kit will work, you just have to change the inner tie rods as well. They are thicker the first gen and G body tie rods.
