Steel or Delrin bushings for stock control arms.

Rubber deflects and urethane binds (it's sticky) Here's where you can get greaseable steel or delrin bushings for stock control arms.

These are for 2wd.

Upper part number:
Steel - 101-740
Delrin - 101-7402

Lower part numbers (note: front bushing needs it's ID enlarged to 14mm or 0.551" or the frame needs to modified with reducer bshings, see post #2):
Steel, front - 101-736
Steel, rear - 101-730
Delrin, front - 101-7362
Delrin, rear - 101-7302

Lower bushings

*AFCO makes the Delrin with steel shells for G bodies. Front lower bushing is 10620069LW and rear lower is 10620076LW. (If you happen to look at their application chart, Monte Carlo and Malibu is wrong for 78-87. Those are full size parts. Look at Cutlass or Regal)

This is how I modding the frame. (paint skills suck)

I used 5/8 to 1/2 reducer bushings and 5/8id washer that where 3/16". You have to open up the frame hole from 14mm (0.551") to 5/8". I used a step drill bit with 1/4" hex shank and ratchet...lol, both sides were done in less then 5 minutes.

Blue = frame
Black = front LCA bushing
Red = reducer bushings and 1/4" thick washer
White in center of bushing is the new smaller bolt hole (1/2")

I know I'm late to the game, but for future reference, GW makes a Del-a-lum bushing kit for the lower.

Part number 1027, Jegs sells it for 139.99.

The reason I went this route is because the bushings are about $10 a piece.
Need frame modding either way.
