Interesting - I'll have to keep an eye on that.  One of my buddies (LS2sonoma) has been thinking about doing something like this to space out the front end for his vette wheels (instead of using spacers).  IIRC the ZO6 wheels increased my track width by something like 6" over stock.  I haven't checked scrub radius yet. 
03 Sonoma ECSB, 4.3 auto, bolt-ons, xtreme80 tune, ZQ8 steering box, QA1 coilovers and rear shocks, UB Machine UCAs, Spohn LCAs, tall balljoints, ZO6 wheels, race seats.

Montyboy should check out these two links and save himself a whole bunch of trouble, time and money. he should pay special attention to the adjustable UCA's at the bottom of the page. Almost all of the stuff Howe sells can be bolted on to any metric car or with a little light fab, any 2wd S10.

The Lca's might take a little math work to work on an S10, but could also bolt on to most metric GM cars. If you also look on the bottom of this page, you will see the tubular coilover (OEM Replacement) and the tubular coil spring (big spring OEM Replacement)

I hope this is useful those of you who would like to make some drastic front suspension improvements. For us S10 guys, the adjustable uppers and the sliding block mounts are a really simple install if you can do some light fab and strong welding.
