Quality

Hey guys, I'm brand new here.  I won't lie I'm not as big as most of you guys are on handling and all that kind of stuff, but, I was hoping you all would be able to give me some good answers on ride quality.  I have a 95 standard cab s10 currently lowered 3/3.  I have just coil springs up front and drop blocks for the back.  The ride quality is not great at all, and it won't stay aligned for the life of it.  Next summer I plan on replacing the linkages up front with some beefier ones to try and correct that some, and I'm also going to re-lower it 4/4 this time.  Drop leafs and 1 inch blocks in the back, but I'm not sure what to go with up front.  I'm not sure which combination will give me the best geometry, quality, and alignment.  2" spindles 2" LCA's stock springs, 2" Springs 2" Spindles, 2" LCA's 2" Springs.  I'd like to hear your opinions on this and any other suggestions you might have.  Like I said I have til next summer to decide so let it fly nothing is set in stone yet.  More than likely my budget will not be more than 750-1000 and I know new linkages will be somewhere around 250.

The stock rubber bushings could be the reason it won't hold an alignment. Most will say poly but they bind, to the point of changing spring rates. Use factory rubber, delrin or steel bushings as replacements.

IMO use drop spindles and 2" springs with factory replacement rubber bushings. You could use steel and get a better ride but you have to mod the frame and remember to lube them at least every 3,000.
