Tall ball joints?
« on: August 20, 2009, 08:18:48 AM »
off camber

Is anyone using these? What are the pros and cons compared to a tall spindle?

rentedmule

i've never heard of them, what are they supposed to do?

-----
off camber

They do the same thing as a tall spindle, change the camber curve. I know one benefit would be better bump steer then a B body swap as long as the tall ball joint was on the upper a arm.

I was just wondering if any one had used them and found any problems with them or if they have found a benefit that the tall spindle doesn't allow.

I will be running them on my 94, with stock lower arms with poly bushings,

It changes the front geomatry in the better.
Also gives you about 3/4" drop.

I will have a badass front suspension when done, and nothing is fancy

off camber

Wouldn't running them on the lower change the bump steer?

Are we talkin use tall ball joints & keep the short spindles or use the tall joints w/ the tall spindles?

-----
off camber

This setup uses the stock spindle.

By spring i hope to have the 94 read for a few hard turns and i will let you all know how i like them.

I will be running them with 2100 spindle.
