Why Ghost, you may ask? Well, in cartoons, ghosts are white. Most people have never seen a ghost, and as far as my wife is concerned, she won't see this one - at least until it's running. Anyhow, it's a '93, that came from the factory with a 4.3/4L60E. According to the odometer, it's just shy of 200k miles. It was originally from Washington and only recently came to Wisconsin.

For a twenty year old truck, it's pretty clean. The cab corners and wheel wells are quite solid, but I'm concerned with some bubbling rust around the driver's side of the windshield.

It was very disassembled by the guy I got it from. It's going to be fun putting everything back together. It doesn't look like everything is there, but I've got a '91 to pull whatever is missing.

I'll be putting a '91 350 TBI/700R4 in it. Planning on using 3rd gen Camaro manifolds, for the time being, until I can find a cheap, used set of Hedman longtubes. I also have a Ferd Exploder 3L73 8.8 rear and the short-side axle to narrow it.
I'll be lowering it 3"/4", with DJM springs in front and blocks, for now, in back.
It was originally a blue interior, but the dash is AWOL, most of the ext. cab panels are busted and the seats are filthy. So, I have a super clean dark gray dash from my previous '93, along with the seats, door panels, back wall carpet, etc. I'm working on getting the ext. cab panels, jump seats, etc. from someone on s10forum.
Once I have it back together and running reliably, I'll attack the appearance. My thoughts are keeping it white, but doing it in metallic (NOT pearl) white, with faint silver "ghost" flames/scallops/tribal/whatever.
I picked up a set of C4 wheels, so I'll have to get spacers just for the front, as I think they'll be OK in the back, when I get the 8.8 rear sorted out.
Scratch the C4 wheels. Wife traded her '01 Camaro SS in. Left the worn out 16" snow tires on, so I have a set of 17" SS wheels to use.

Don't narrow the 8.8 rear... drill the axles to the 5x4.75 pattern & they'll be spaced how you need to run the Vette wheels. I've got belltec 3" lowering springs for the rear & a couple other parts you may or may not be interested in. I've tried to run the Hedman long tubes. They suck! You need to run their engine mounts & that's just lame. I've got V8 swap mounts here, too. I've got an extra Jeep steering shaft that helps w/ clearance in a V8 swap. Where in WI are you?

Regarding narrowing the 8.8, I've already acquired the short-side shaft, in trade for the long one. It was a bitch to find the short one, so I imagine finding another long one will be equally as difficult.
I'd be interested in the Belltech leafs and the Jeep shaft.
I'm using homemade mounting plates, copied from Trans-Dapt, which I believe are what the Hedman long tubes require.
I'm in Brookfield, just west of Milwaukee.

I'm in Franklin Park. Outside of Chicago. Maybe one of these days you could head down, take a look at the car for ideas & get the springs & jeep shaft. PM me w/ an offer & we can figure out a time/day.

After a long hiatus, caused by a fire at work (where I store my truck), I finally got around to doing something today.
Took apart the front clip.
