93 dime
« on: April 04, 2011, 07:55:16 PM »
well for the last 7 years ive been working on my reg cab, short bed 93 s-10.  Its always been a toy, never in the rain or snow.  I pulled the 2.8 to put a simple carb'd v-8 in it and that turned into a  5 yr project.   the firewall was cut out, a new firewall was built and moved back 4.75 inches and perfectly smooth.  the master cylinder is now under the truck.  the center frame section was cut down so you cant see it hanging out under the the truck.   tubular cro-mo control arms, 4 corner coil overs, wilwood cross drilled/slotted rotors and 4 piston calipers all the way around. 8.8 rear axle with 3:73 gearing. 17x11 rear wheels with 315/35's and 17x8 fronts with 245/40's
The engine is a 5.3 block/crank. 11.2:1 comp, texas speed cam, fast intake, throtle body and fuel rails. patriot stage 2 heads, sheet metal valve covers w/ coil pack relocation kit.       thats where it stands now.  I have a long, long way to go before im done.  ill upload pictures tomorrow.
