My grandpa gave me a good name for my project, Project Bomber, He said riding in it last weekend reminded him of being in a WWII bomber plane
When I first got the truck

After lowering it the ghetto way , 1.5 coils cut off and 3" blocks, and a little body work

Engine pulled ready for the v8

Ole 305 in between the frame rails

Thats with the 2 barrell.

After driving the truck for a few months something finally broke. So I went ahead and put a better rear in while I was at it.
I put a blazer 2wd 8.5 disc brake rear in it along with 3" lowering leafs, a 1" block. Upfront I put drop spindles and a 4cyl springs.

The stock rear end actually has held up very well since the v8 swap.

This weekends modifications
I was at Pic A Part on friday pulling a ps pump when I looked over to the s10 next to me and noticed it was a zq8 truck.
I pulled the front and rear sway bar and brackets, I am going back Tomorrow and pulling the gear box and the hop shock.
The zq8 sway bar against the stock 1st gen

My speedway motors Tubular UCA's

I am going to order some tall upper and lower bj's sometime this week and that will finish out the front end.
I will take pcs soon of the gutted interior. To tell you the truth, I kinda like not having an interior, you can hear every little squeak and rattle, and I love it. I dont really care about how the truck looks, its all about function, as long as it is what I need it to be I am happy.
