I was under the impression this spindle was going to use the standard tapered roller bearings on a spindle pin...not the bolt-in integral bearings?
If you want to run on 15/16" wheels, stick with commercially available Bell-Tech variety spindles because you clearly are only interested in the cosmetics anyways and not how well the system performs.
Your point that running small wheels means I'm only concerned with looks?

My point was you could easily be running any run of the mill drop spindle and see the same results. Let's let the R&D money get spent developing for guys who will actually notice a difference.
My main reason for wanting a tall spindle is I do not like the idea of brake adapter brackets. IMO it's just more that can fail.
For 1/2 of that year I run snow tires and it would cost another $1k+ for a set to fit ZO6 wheels that will then be useless because they're a foot wide - ever see a ZO6 driving in a blizzard? For me that increases the cost of the spindle swap by the price of the vette brakes and by a second set of winter wheels and tires to fit over them. I may pop for that eventually but for now I'd just like better geometry so I can go fast enough to worry about my brakes. IMHO that can't be any further from being strictly concerned with cosmetics.
Very good news and thanks Luke for keeping us updated.Wonder whos gonna send that spindle....(wish I had a set)
You suck....(both of you)
