Well I finally got a job. The truck is a little more disassembled than it was, much too depressed to work on it lol. My short list is to finish the A/C delete, get the drivers inner fender off for paint, and finish the core support. Also I need to start designing my battery and sound system bracketry for the rear.

for the system, you should try to make some kind of plug-in system so it would be easy to remove for racing.

yeah that was the goal, the subwoofer and mono amp will be connected with 4ga quick disconnects and wingnuts so it will be a quick removal.

So it looks as though I'm not dead. I had a huge summer of change and found the most amazing girl. The summer until now has been the best period of my life thus far. On that note, you may be wondering about the truck...

This is how it sits now.

All A/c stuff is now removed. Put radiator in core support and have enough room to out my e-fans on the inside :) Cools so well.

Messed with electrolysis to to remove the rust from my upper and lower control arms. Well worth the time spent.

Coated them with Herculiner and installed all new steering parts. Coilovers finally installed correctly.

Decided to cam the 5.7L

But the cam was too big so I decided to get the heads worked instead of sending it back lol.

New gears and single roller chain.

Under hood shot - Note the red and black electrical connections (battery is rear mounted)

Satin black on the mirrors and cowl. I'm digging it. :)

New motor was strong enough to break the rear end so thats on this winter's to-do list. I need some racing seats, still need to do something with the audio setup, and get it tuned properly.

does that cooling setup even work?   those things are teenie weenie and with no shroud on the rad its not going to pull air through only half the rad.
