more work...
replaced my busted speedo cable. i never want to do that again
replaced leaking rubber fuel line
added a spectre fuel pressure gauge i picked up at autozone. cool little part, only cost me $14. not rated for fuel injection tho.
it was missfiring for a little while, and between that and work i havnt had time to go on a "photoshoot"
i also forgot to mention that i had the exhaust redone. its 2.5 inch tubing with flowmaster muflers and turndowns.

update:
-holley 570 street avenger
-msd 8mm wires
-msd cap and rotor
-bosch plugs .045 gap
had some hickups going from a single inlet edelbrock to a duel inlet holley, but ive worked most of them out. i did order a nice polished steel fuel line from holley but its really designed for higher profile intakes so i dont think it will be going on. i was going to try to get in sorted out and fitting today but i found myself just "relaxing" all day.
its running pritty good but theres a hesitation under "seat of the pants" driving. i still need to check the timing, the previous owner lived in upstate new york (higher altitude and colder weather) so it might be a bit off for down here at sea level.
also, my "posi" isnt locking so i need to sort that out before snow hits. im hoping sence it worked last winter it just needs new oil.

hey guys
i got the holley crome fuel line on only to find it wasnt soldered all the was around and it sprayed $3.75 a gallon all over the place, put the rubber line back on. timing was 8 degrees, set it to 10 and got a good implovement. still hesitates a bit but at least it dosnt ping anymore.
yes this is my first time tuning an engine, my dad knows little stuff like idle adjustment but not much so ive had to learn all this.
plugs say rich but i only recently made some improvements.
could too much fuel pressure cause a rich condition, hesitation and lack of off the line power?

Yup, that's exactly how an overly rich engine would act, like mine.
