Sweet - I have had some close calls with running out of brakes on course so I'm hoping they make a nice improvement. I ran through the end of the stop box at about 80 km/h last year and almost ended up in a ditch on the other side. Not fun!

Moved it out the barn today for the first time in a month. That's all the progress I have to report!

The shovel in the snow bank makes it look like you might have actually done work.

My driveway is a few hundred feet long with a large parking area behind the house. I don't own a snow-blower so that shovel (and one of the big scoop ones) sees a lot of action!

We don't get snow around here like that anymore. I almost prefer snow to rain though. Traction is the worst in the rain it seems.

We had a good storm last weekend, the drifts were 2-3 feet for the full length of the driveway. Had to hire a snow blower to clear us out this time!

Kore3 parts arrived a few days ago and I mocked things up. Just need to get some bolts for the hub and clips for brake pads and I should be good to get them put on (finally).

Rotors are just standard replacement C5 vette pieces from Raybestos. 12.8" diameter. I ordered the hardware kit a few days ago so it shouldn't be long now.

No updates on the brakes yet, still waiting for parts.
I did get a leaf pulled from each pack though. The ride is generally much better now. It's still firm but it doesn't feel harsh like it used to. I think it dropped the rear about an inch as well. I didn't measure before/after but it doesn't have the same rake that it used to. I likely won't have a chance to race it until the end of May so it may be a while before I get to really test it. As a bonus, it dropped about 12 pounds...

Ordered 4 toyo R888's a few minutes ago
I have a Toyo racer ID and got a promotion email that had them for $145/tire.

IIRC I just filled out an online form on the toyo motorsports website. Their site automatically brings me to the Canadian version but there should be an equivalent program in the US. I found it on the left hand menu under motorsports - racing program - registration.

The promo emails usually list a limited number of sizes and there aren't many available - I bought 4 of the remaining 6 in the 275/40-17 size.

let me know how you like the r888s, i was thinking of getting those, but went with the TQs since I do mostly straight line. Only corners I take now are when I'm taking a spirited drive home

I've only ever seen the R888's and R1R's in the promotional emails and usually they're in smaller sizes. They ended up being the same price as race scrubs (75% remaining) that I would have had to drive 5 hours to Maine to pick up.
