Nah, stock dimmer off the column. I'll need to drill out one of the holes since they've all been filled.

Why did you fill all the holes,I realize it is in the male nature to do this, but not to your dash!lol

Most of the holes were fouled up.. dents around them & whatnot. It'll be easier to have them filled & then make 2 holes (1 big for the lights & 1 about 7/16 for the heater's fan switch).

Glad you are using switches that go with the dash rather then trying to make stock work.
I'll let you know about the perf metal.

The pull type light switch I've got goes to the '76 pontiac & the dash is '63 ford.. I was thinking about just tossing the s10 light switch up under the dash until I get the pull type switch to work.

I wish cars were the way they were pre-1974... After '74 cars really started to suck (there are a few exceptions.. but very few).

I ordered up a rotating assembly ah-la-cart off ebay. Got a set of H rods, pop-up pistons, cast rings & a new 1pc crank.

Yes I did. I sent you a PM over at the Planet.

Got the dash in & started getting my carpet in, too. Gauge cluster fit fine before the bondo.. after, it doesn't want to go back in. I may end up making a different cluster, which I think I want to do anyways. I made brackets to hold the bottom of the dash were the original was held. One of the brackets I cut, drilled & rivited my E-brake handle to. On w/ the pix..
