That's where I'm at. Trying to figure out which control arm and ball joint combo is best for me and my budget.

Moly
Standard Steel
Considering they're the same price, I'll be getting the Moly.

I was looking at the Moly too. Still weighing that against the UB Machine option since Duster did some trials on the S10 chassis to dial them in better for us. Price could be a big part of it though. Haven't called UB Machine to get a quote since I won't be spending the money until June hits.

When you do call, see if you can get any specific info on how they adjusted the caster. They aided camber obviously by just making them shorter, but it's the caster adjustment that has yet to be accounted for. If they added any real caster then I'd say it's worth it, unless I hear back from speedway that theirs are different too.

I ordered the UB Machine arms. IIRC I had to talk to Greg because the other guy I talked to couldn't find the part numbers. He said $55 for each arm, so if that is true then it is quite close in price to the Speedway arms if shipping isn't outrageous. Supposed to be a couple weeks before I get them. I'll have to call and check on the order here soon just to make sure it didn't get lost anywhere. Didn't ask about caster since I was having a hard enough time getting the part numbers recognized.
Decided to go with the C10 uppers too. Picked up a pair from Summit for about $15 each when I ordered my transmission mount last week. They were delivered in under 24 hours.
Also ordered the tall lower ball joints from Power Performance for $110 shipped. Total damage for the front is looking to be about $255 + the shipping from UB Machine.

I just had my alignment redone and the shop measured 7.5 degrees of caster and 1 degree of negative camber in my previous settings with the UB arms if that helps. I dropped it back to the SC&C street performance specs of 5.5 caster and 0.5 negative camber but neither shop had trouble achieving those numbers with the UB arms.

Do you remember what your previous settings were? Did you go with the 5.5/0.5 before too?

Do you mean my stock settings? I've been running the 7.5/-1 with some toe-out for about a year and it sucked with wide tires on the front. It tram-lined like crazy on the highway and the camber ate tires at an unacceptable rate. The 5.5/-0.5 with a bit of toe-in is much more civilized but it still feels plenty responsive.

When you installed the UB arms did you get it realligned right away to the 7.5/-1? I was thinking you were saying that after installing the UB arms (and before getting it alligned) it measured 7.5/-1. Was trying to do the math to see how much caster they added.

I did have it aligned right away after installing the UB arms. I remember it visually looking way out of whack when I finished the install at home but the shop didn't provide any info on the settings.

so if i understand this correctly, the c10 upper balljoints act as a tall s10 joint, and bolt straight up to the s10 spindle? $55 isn't too bad at all,i'll have to give them a call

Yeah, the taper is the same, as is the small diameter, but the C10 spindles have a larger area of the spindle that the ball joint goes through, so the pin is taller, aprox. 3/8" extra height.

They don't bolt to the S10 upper control arms though.
Speedway does sell an S10 ball joint with the C10 stud. Artos linked to it earlier.

Did UB say what the lead time on your arms was going to be?

I got the UB Machine arms last week. Only $120 shipped, but took nearly two months to get them. I purchased the cheapest C10 ball joints I could find to run with them.
