tierods and steering linkages

Looking for a good brand or possibly a package deal for the entire front steering linkage and tierods.  My '87 steering needs some tune up.

I went with this kit - http://www.proforged.com/parts/1982-2005-Chevrolet-S10-2WD-Steering-Linkage-Kit

Power performance now I guess proforged. There shit is really beefy, it's probably overkill if anything. It's nice stuff though for stock replacement. It was a good buy and is working well. I've only got a couple thousand kilometers on it now though so I can really say they passed the test of time. They do offer the million mile warranty, or at least they did.

Yeah, if you just want stock replacement, they are the way to go, decent price for the full package and after getting their idler arm, I would not hesitate to use more of their stuff. Will probably use their tall lower ball joints on my truck at least, maybe the uppers too.

Thanks guys, I found their site and wasn't sure cause I've never heard of them.

I was going to piece one together with moog parts.  May just get their complete kit, its cheaper too

It looks like they intend you to install it backwards from that original picture by the installed pictures, which would put the raised and shorter side on the passenger side. The only reason I could think of to do that would be if the idler arm was all wrong.

The centerlink shown is from the g body kit, which spohn makes, but for the s10 it's just a moog unit instead with all the other spohn parts from the g body kit.

I noticed the same thing, that's why I wasn't worried about the pictures.  I know Spohn makes good parts and I have heard good things about their company.  Plus I was going to use all Moog parts, but that cost is around $300 once you piece everything together

The installed pictures show the same wonky piece though.

the installed pictures look like they are on a G-body frame too.

that's a complete custom steering linkage setup.  custom center link, pitman arm, idler arm, and tie rods.

not to mention the cross-member is dropped, and the custom spindles.

what options do we have for bump steer kits....I know of the spohn kit but that'a it

I'm planning on speedway motors uppers, tall lower BJs and a bump steer kit

You can order what essentially amounts to a bumpsteer kit from speedway also, check my project thread, I've got them on my blazer.
