They bolt pattern is a hair off on the BMW's though, isn't it?
ah good plan, possibly consider bmw wheels for the 7" wide 17s1010tires says225/50/17 is the narrowest roughly 26" tire you can use on an 8" wheelbut there are people running 205s stretched on a 9" wheels as well
I could probably find a complete set of 'vette wagon wheels for the price of another set of adapters so I'm definitely not going that route unless a crazy deal comes up somehow.
I think Harley had some 9" soft 8s with 285s bolted up temporarily once, but you'll have to wait for him to respond. IMHO a 9.5" wide C5 Z06 wheel on the front is going to take a hell of an adapter to get out far enough to consider working, and then you may have problems with rubbing on the outside depending on your drop, but that is mostly a guesstimate.
C6 Corvette wheels, 2.5" spacers front and 3" spacers rear
I ran 17x9 '02 Camaro SS Wheels with a great looking stance for years. 2.25" adapters. Personally I would have gone with 2" adapters up front as they were a bit on the "wide" side for my first gen.SS Wheel to tie-rod clearance16" Z28 wheel to tie-rod clearance ('95 wheels with same adapters)Before adaptersAfter adapters
